We only board or groom dogs within the range stated above. Little Dogs Holiday Home and Grooming Spa is specialized in little dogs only. It's like a "special club" just for little dogs. If your dog is outside this range, no matter if it's very friendly we will no longer accept it for boarding. We've seen a lot of people claiming their dogs are small and when they turn up, they are heavy, big and tall and it only creates problems for the little ones in so many ways, we decided to be strict with our policies for the well being of the ones who are happy here.
Always welcome at Little Dogs Holiday Home are, for example:
Toy, Miniature and Small Breeds:
Bichon, Bolognese, Brussels Griffon, Beagle, Petit Bassets, Cavalier, Coton de Tulear, Dachsund, Havanese, Japanese Chin, Lhasa Apso, Maltese, Papillon, Pekinese, Pomeranian, Poodle, Schnauzer, Shih Tzu, Spaniels and Yorkies;
Small Terrier Group Dogs:
Australian, Bedlington, Border, Cairn, Cesky, Dandi Dimont, Irish Glenn of Imaal, Lakeland, Sealiham, Silky, Tibetan, Welsh, Westie and Yorkies.
We also accept all the MIXED BREEDS (hybrid or designer breeds) within the breeds mentioned above (ranging within the same weight and height) like for example: Bich-poo, Bolonoodle, Broodle Griffon, Cairnoodle, Cavapoo, Daisy Dog, Lhasapoo, Lacasapoo, etc.
If your dog is not above or you don't know your dog's breed, please send a photo by email to us as long as your dog is under the weight and height specified above and we'll get back to you.
We want to provide excellent service for clients who appreciate a selective and secure environment for their small dogs.

Your dogs need a holiday too...a nice place where they can put their feet up
When you go on holiday make sure your dog gets to stay in a lovely, clean and caring environment. Perhaps you are ill and need someone to care for your small dog while you convalesce. Or yet maybe you just need a place to leave your dog during the day while you are at work. Or you just want your dog to socialize a few times a week when you are away. You will want to make sure he/she will have a wonderful time and lots of love, attention, fun, be fed prime organic food and homebaked treats, play and run in a clean environment without leashes, in properly fenced gardens while fully supervised.
This is a beautiful cottage in New Rochelle, NY (only 20 minutes from Manhattan, in Westchester County). We have 3 spacious fenced English gardens. You have no better choice than to call us right now and see for yourself. Your pooch won’t be left in a cage. He/she will be free to mingle with our small family, in our home and be spoiled just like you spoil them at home. We are not a kennel so please do not expect caging services. We can't bear that sort of treatment.
If you are still in doubt, give us a call and make an appointment for a visit, and please bring your dog(s). We will be happy to show you around and talk about all the details. We only take very few small dogs at a time (up to 35 pounds). Our fences are 6 feet tall and 4 feet tall, and are also screened with a mesh in between, so the smallest dogs cannot get through. We have 21 years of experience caring for small dogs. We guarantee you CANNOT have better choice! Daycare services are also available. Vaccinations and flea control are mandatory for your dog(s) safety.

The Cottage
We live in this beautiful Cottage with English country charm. We are fascinated by English Cottage Gardens. When we lived in England, where my husband is from, I learned everything I could about this garden style and when we bought this place in New Rochelle, the gardens were pratically non-existent - just a lawn with a few bushes were part of the scenery with no real fence protection for our little ones. Then, by ourselves, little by little we created these beautiful gardens with our own hands. We always have something in flower, or interesting in every season. This is though a never ending story, as our gardens are continually being improved and changed as it matures year after year, and so does our home.
If you visit us you will notice that the gardens are safe for the dogs and that they are never left unsupervised while they are there. They have many times for playing, exercising, and resting during the day. Here they are kings! Spoiled to the bone in the healthiest environment. We provide them all the comforts of a full 5 Star home away from home. And we are always planning for improvement in any possible way. Though our prices are not luxurious we make it our business to care for them because we love them so much. Dogs are family for us!
We believe, the best way to evaluate whether your dog will simply love our place is to bring him/her for a visit. We are in New Rochelle, NY (15 minutes from New York City, 25 minutes from Long Island and 15 min from Greenwich,Connecticut, on the way to JFK, La Guardia and Westchester Airports, 100 yards off the Hutchinson River Pkwy.) YOU DON'T NEED A PLANE TO GET HERE!
Call ahead for appointments but plan to stay at least for an hour and bring your best friend with you. Our little ones absolutely love new company and they will throw your dog a big welcome dance, guaranteed!
